This reprint of the 1840's Nauvoo Newspaper is taken from the time after Joseph and Hyrum Smith were martyred in Carthage Jail. It is dated July 1, 1844 and contains a report of their murder. It is 16 pages all printed on one large sheet. It measures about 11 1/2 inches tall by 7" wide.
